Treasure Boxes - I made this small quilt using the English Paper Piecing technique. It is *almost* a charm quilt, but one fabric was sneaky! I cut the templates with the accucut machine. I took a few pieces in a baggie in my purse as a portable project.

Time Span Treasures - This was made is response to a guild challenge. The fabrics in the challenge represented various eras. I made an album quilt and instead of signatures wrote in the names of my 2 daughters, myself, my mother, my grandmothers, my mother-in-law, and my husband's grandmothers. The women of our family--our heritage and legacy of strength and love. Truly treasures to span all time.

My Lineman

My Lineman - I had a picture of a lineman at home. I used an overhead projector to trace an outline of the picture. Then, I used the overhead to blow the image up to fit on a piece of poster board. I used fusible web and blanket stitched the outline of the design. I put a black border, to frame out the design to make it more prominent. It was all stitch in the ditch. I did not add extra machine stitching because I thought the image was enough of a design.

Log 10 - Black cotton sateen was used to make one log cabin block. Freehand quilting was used in each of the logs. This was part of a log cabin challenge sponsored by the Trinity Valley Quilt Guild, Ft Worth, TX
