Chinar Reflection
Name of Maker: Mary Ann Littlejohn
Chinar Reflection - This quilt was commissioned by a neighbor to hang above her bed. She showed me a silk linen beadspread, heavily embroidered with design representing the Kashmiri chinar tree. She also gave me an old family sari and a few other pieces of silk to use. Based on a landscape photo she liked, I designed the quilt in rectangles per her request.
Wandering
Name of Maker: Mary Ann Littlejohn
Wandering - Inspired by a photo of Wandering Jew in neighbors yard. The photo was printed on cotton fabric. A photo effect produced the mosaic printed on fabric.

Christmas roses - I just loved this pattern as soon as I saw it. I couldn't find all of the colors so I used the light blue, cream and red of a Christmas line.

Lakeview - This was a small quilt made in a Quilt University class with Susan Brittingham on Landscape quilts. Lots of fun.
2009 BOM Quilt
Name of Maker: Ellen C. Lindow
2009 BOM Quilt - This quilt was started almost on a whim, and I didn't have enough material. I kept scrounging around for more, one time emailing a friend in Albuquerque to go back to the Hobby Lobby and buy all the white they had remaining on the bolt. A wonderful quiltshop in Rockledge Florida, and a Hancock's Fabric in Tampa also provided me with my pallette, then scrambles on Ebay for more of the pottery material in November. Susan did the most amazing job of quilting on the long-arm. I was just amazed. I had never sent a quilt out for quilting, but it was certainly the right thing to do. The sunbursts she did freehand really add to the bright look.
