Three Jack-O-Lanterns - I made this quilt for my husband’s office door when he was a principal at an elementary school.
Baltimore Album-ish
Name of Maker: Nancy Allen
Baltimore Album-ish - Many blocks were done while I was teaching a class on needle turn applique at a shop called the Picket Fence in Kendall, NY. The shop is now closed. I had marked it for hand quilting but my hands hurt too much for alot of hand quilting and it was not getting done. After attending a quilt show, I was inspired to wash out the markings and finish it on my machine. I'm very happy with the results and glad to get a UFO done.
Lover's Knot Shopper
Name of Maker: mimuscraft
Lover's Knot Shopper - My friendly neighbour gave me these old/unused (and very sturdy) fabrics. I wanted to use this traditional block pattern, simple and quick to sew. Bag pattern is adapted from book "Handmade bags" by Terence Terry.

The Haunted Moon
Name of Maker: Debbie Wolf
The Haunted Moon - I used batiks and did machine applique with a smoky invisible thread. I quilted with assorted colors of Superior's Glitter Threads. The spider and web was not part of the original pattern, but I thought it needed something amid all the black. I incorporated a bat design in the border quilting.

Forth of July - The Grand Finale
Name of Maker: Dawn Siden
Forth of July - The Grand Finale - Totally paper pieced, highly micro-quilted background (around 9000 feet of thread), completely stitched in the ditch, trapunto stars in the border areas, around 500 Swarovski crystal throughout.
Pi R Squared + Bling
Name of Maker: Dawn Siden
Pi R Squared + Bling - I collected Red/Blk/Wht fabrics for about 10 years, for this quilt. Each pie shape relates to its connecting background, in some manner. For insance, there is a Kokopelli in one pie, and the background is musical notes. (Lighthouse/lobster, etc.) This was fun, but also a challenge. Once the quilt was done, I felt it needed something, so in 2010 I added about 500 red Swarovski crystals to the border, and the main center block. That did the trick!
10-10-10 Table Runner
Name of Maker: she-quilts
10-10-10 Table Runner - I adapted Joanie's acorn design to a wholecloth table runner for my in-laws anniversary on 10-10-10. The fabric is hand-dyed silk-cotton blend that I did. I quilted it with Superior's silk thread.
Sunspots
Name of Maker: Janet Hartje
Sunspots - Sunspots began it's life as an ordinary piece of cream muslin. I shibori dyed the sun design. Next it was overdyed with yellow. It sat for quit awhile as I contemplated how to give it a little 'pow' I added beads, tiny mirrors, angelina film, swarovski crystals, and hand quilting. This was made for a show at The Textile Center in Minneapolis, MN called A Common Thread. The show is in January 2011. Since it was made for a show at the Textile Center I decided to finish it with a frame. I really like the frame with it, I think it finished it off nicely.
