fabricplayer101 Sunspots - Sunspots began it's life as an ordinary piece of cream muslin. I shibori dyed the sun design. Next it was overdyed with yellow. It sat for quit awhile as I contemplated how to give it a little 'pow' I added beads, tiny mirrors, angelina film, swarovski crystals, and hand quilting. This was made for a show at The Textile Center in Minneapolis, MN called A Common Thread. The show is in January 2011. Since it was made for a show at the Textile Center I decided to finish it with a frame. I really like the frame with it, I think it finished it off nicely.
