Tea Pots for Terrie - My secret pal collected tea pots, so I wanted to make her a special quilt of tea pots. Used printed tea pot fabric set in strips with sashings.

Music Class - Made for my son's first band teacher who instilled a love of music in him. The border of piano keys has the names of each of the 5th grade band members machine embroidered on it.

Butterfly quilt - Pieced and appliqued butterflies in pastel colors on white background. Made for a co-worker's baby girl.

Class of 2005 - 3" square blocks of school motif fabrics in red, cream & black alternating with 3" x 6" rectangles of muslin set in diagonal rows. The muslin blocks are written on by my husband's 8th grade students.

You Said You Wanted Bright Colors - Lots of angles - diamonds, triangles, etc. with bright colors mixed with white. Great scrappy look.

Butterflies Go Free - The fabrics for this Harmonic Convergence quilt were chosen because they "sort of" went together and because I didn't think I'd use them for anything else. I wanted to test the Harmonic Convergence process before I used it with "good" fabric. As the quilt came together I liked it more and more and could envision the butterflies trying to get out from behind the "bars", and so I appliqued some butterflies on the top. Thus the title "Butterflies Go Free". Quilting was done with metallic silver thread which doesn't show up in the picture.

George's Tie Quilt - My mother-in-law made this quilt out of her husband's and other's old silk ties. It is made in the crazy quilt pattern.

Blooming Nine Patch - This was the first quilt I machine pieced during a quilt lesson at a local quilt store. Susan, the owner, long arm quilted it for me.

Baby Baskets - I made this baby quilt for a friend of my daughters, Leslie, who was expecting her first baby.

Mary's Quilt (backside) - Lacework from one of the backside corners shown. The fabric for the backside is actually a prequilted (poly batting). But the rest of the quilting and "over quilting" was done by me.

I DREAM OF BEING... - Made for the Quilt of Dreams quilt contest, sponsored by Hancock Fabrics for St. Jude Children's Research Hosital. Won Grand Prize. Tours U.S. before being given to a child from St. Jude Hospital.

Amish Black - Made by copying from a magazine cover picture.

denver - My Aunt mailed me a handful of crayons to work from for color. She loves southwest design. It is quilted with boots and longhorn steer. I made 2 matching quilts for her.

Elizabeth - Commistioned to make the quilt with pictures of Betty Ford and Gerald Ford. Given to her in Feb 2007.
