Design Source - Description | The fabrics for this Harmonic Convergence quilt were chosen because they "sort of" went together and because I didn't think I'd use them for anything else. I wanted to test the Harmonic Convergence process before I used it with "good" fabric. As the quilt came together I liked it more and more and could envision the butterflies trying to get out from behind the "bars", and so I appliqued some butterflies on the top. Thus the title "Butterflies Go Free". Quilting was done with metallic silver thread which doesn't show up in the picture. |
