Woof Woof
Name of Maker: Bethindc
Woof Woof - I used EQ6 to design this quilt and based it on one of their patterns. I also scanned the fabrics so I could see what it would look like with the fabrics I chose. I quilted it on my Viking Megaquilter and the quilting pattern just says "woof woof woof" all the way across the quilt. Gale is a dog lover.
Lucious Lavendar
Name of Maker: Pat Kerko
Lucious Lavendar - I think everyones favorite colors is Purple. I enjoyed putting this quilt together and the richness of the color. Additionally, I enjoyed exploring and improving my machine quilting skills. I quilted this on my home machine. This quilt just won First Place in the machine quilting category at the 2007 Pigeon Forge Quiltfest. Needless to say I was very excited.

Starry Starry Night - This was my first quilt. I made this as a wall quilt for my brother-in-law's birthday. He picked the quilt from a picture in the book "Watercolor Impressions" by Magaret & Slusser, because it reminded him of an Escher painting He did not know that I would be making it for him.
Andreas Galaxy
Name of Maker: Quiltylisa
Andreas Galaxy - The block name is Patiences Corner (sp). It is for my daughter and is a wip...for a few years now..She picked out the blue which fades from deep blue to a lighter blue. The wow has stars and moons on it to compliment the stars in the blue. I did all the moon faces by hand. In the outer border I am using a silver metallic thread in a shooting star design. I started out doing it by achine but I didnt like the ay the thread kept tangling so I took out what I did and am finishing it by hand. Once that it done it just needs binding.

what Is Black & White & Red All Over? - I started this quilt in a class with Jan Krentz. It is from her Lone Star book. I wanted to do it in Red, White and Black. I am doing a lot of quilts now in those colors. Cathy did a great job quilting it for me. I add swarovski crystals to give it some bling. I won a blue ribbon and Cathy won Best Machine Quilting at the Raleigh Capital Quilter's Guild show this past May.

maidenshead
Name of Maker: jim langland
maidenshead - Using removable white chalk I free-hand drew my interpretation of a da Vinci sketch. The classic line study of a maiden's head seemed to be a good choice for the deep-blue and purple hand-dyed fabric from the Ricky Tims fabric collection. This is the 2nd in a series of da Vinci interpretations that I am currently working on. At the time of this photo, the sketching was complete and ready for quilting. With this quilt, I am having the quilting done on an APQS Millennium by Marilyn Badger.
