jimlangland maidenshead - Using removable white chalk I free-hand drew my interpretation of a da Vinci sketch. The classic line study of a maiden's head seemed to be a good choice for the deep-blue and purple hand-dyed fabric from the Ricky Tims fabric collection. This is the 2nd in a series of da Vinci interpretations that I am currently working on. At the time of this photo, the sketching was complete and ready for quilting. With this quilt, I am having the quilting done on an APQS Millennium by Marilyn Badger.
