First Quilt -Still unfinished
Sudoku Quilt
Name of Maker: Roberta Levin
Sudoku Quilt - This is the second in a series of quilts I have made based on the logic puzzle called "Sudoku". Each row and column has nine blocks, and there are also nine nine-patch blocks. In the puzzle, the numbers 1-9 are used and may not be repeated within a row, column or three by three block. I substituted 9 fabrics for the numerals of a completed puzzle. The result has a pleasing random effect, I think.
2002 Oregon P.E.O. President's Quilt
Name of Maker: Judy Browning
2002 Oregon P.E.O. President's Quilt - From her convention chapters. Motto; "P.E.O.- A Recipe for Success" represented by a Klamath Falls, Oregon pelican in baking gear. Ten Oregon stars are chapters involved and Oregon blocks border.
Red & Black Licorice
Name of Maker: Tina Curran
Red & Black Licorice - I used only three colors in this quilt -- red, white & black -- and only 36 fabrics. I challenged myself to use each fabric only four times -- once in each of the four sections of the block (background "L", background of spikes, spikes, and inner quarter circle). Also, no block could be adjacent to -- i.e., touch at the top, bottom or either side -- a block containing any of the same fabrics. (I had to allow for blocks diagonal to each other to share fabric, otherwise there was no solution).
My Spider's Web
Name of Maker: Vicki Mangum
My Spider's Web - Radiating colors form a spider web with couched silver metallic embroidery threads, beads, overlaid with bridal tulle, and a collection of pins - spiders, butterflies, flies, leaves - representing items you might find caught in a spiders web.
Ann's quilt
Name of Maker: Pamela Thompson
Ann's quilt - I purchased this Barbie panel and some cool fabric to go with it for my daughter. I sashed the panel with the cool fabrics and added more Barbie small blocks around the 3 sides to let those show at the bottom and sides of the bed. She was about 5 years old at the time and very thrilled to get this quilt for her Birthday.

red and white quilt
Name of Maker: Pamela Thompson
red and white quilt - I designed this quilt arount the redwork Alphabet embroidery that I had gotten. I also had some similar red and white fabric that I just knew would work with the embroidery I had gotten. So I embroidered the 26 blocks and then alternated them with RED and White fabric with ABC's on it and alteranted those blocks with the white and red fabric. It was quilted with a blue and white star fabric for the back and wrapped to the front for a finish. This qult was donated to the Montessori school where my children attended and auctioned off to raise money. I also made a matching pillow case and throw pillow to go with the quilt.
Opulent Butterflies
Name of Maker: Barbara Campbell
Opulent Butterflies - Designed with Paula Nadelstern's Opulence fabric. I loved playing with her border prints and stripes to design this quilt.

Skeeter Cat's Heaven on Earth - When we moved to a new home in the Millenium year of 2000 these were the things that made Skeeter's new home feel like Heaven on earth. Hand appliqued, machine quilted. Inspired by a Mary Lou Weidman class in Sisters, OR.
Terry's baby quilt 1961
Name of Maker: Marie Brooks
Terry's baby quilt 1961 - I bought the blocks from a 5 and 10 cent store (remember those) in the 50's took them to Fort Knox, Ky where my huband was a MP and we both embroidered them while waiting for our first child. My Mom quilted it for us so it would be ready when he got here.
Clara's quilt
Name of Maker: Pamela Thompson
Clara's quilt - This quilt was made for my mother in law in celebration of her 80th B-day. I worked on it for a year or so, off and on, learning about fabric printing and using the computer to edit photos and print them. And once I was done I had to send it to her and didn't actually see her reaction to the quilt when she opened it. But I got a wonderful phone call from her, with great appreciation of what I had made for her. I had alot of fun with the photos and wording. The words describe who she is and things that she says. I printed those off on the fabric from WORD and had a wonderful time putting this all together for her.
Crazy Hearts
Name of Maker: Roberta Levin
Crazy Hearts - This wall hanging was made as a silent auction item to benefit Park School in Evanston, IL. It is paper pieced in pinks, reds and whites and quilted on my Gammill long arm machine.
