tinacurran Red & Black Licorice - I used only three colors in this quilt -- red, white & black -- and only 36 fabrics. I challenged myself to use each fabric only four times -- once in each of the four sections of the block (background "L", background of spikes, spikes, and inner quarter circle). Also, no block could be adjacent to -- i.e., touch at the top, bottom or either side -- a block containing any of the same fabrics. (I had to allow for blocks diagonal to each other to share fabric, otherwise there was no solution).
