Wedding Quilt
Name of Maker: Carole Vince
Wedding Quilt - This was a block of the month quilt through my local quilt store. It was made as a wedding gift.
Color Me Happy
Name of Maker: Debbie Cameron
Color Me Happy - A few ladies in my friendship group, Sew Together, got together to make quilts for a family whose father had passed away suddenly from a brain cancer. I got to make the quilt for a pre-teen girl and was told that she liked funky bright colors. These were anonymous gifts each of us made for the mom, this young lady as well as her 4 year old brother. It gave me great pleasure to be a part of this effort.
Haiku
Name of Maker: Carole Vince
Haiku - I made this quilt for a friend who loves writing Haiku. They were made for each other!
Pin Up Girls
Name of Maker: Elaine Busse Floyd
Pin Up Girls - A 20-something bachelor quilt for my oldest son, this quilt has a luxurious brown faux fur backing that makes it extra heavy and warm, and provides a nice contract to the pinups on the front.
Tulips Table Runner
Name of Maker: Carole Vince
Tulips Table Runner - Made through a class at my local quilt store.
Ryan's Teddies
Name of Maker: Carole Vince
Ryan's Teddies - Made for a friend's new baby boy.

Quilting Mice - Hand embroidered mice. Took Freckles pattern and recoloured for my needs using EQ5.
Kestria
Name of Maker: Kris Driessen
Kestria - I made this with the Gentle Grace fabrics. The pattern is available free as a block of the month at http://www.bomquilts.com/
Mother's Advice
Name of Maker: Linda Wyckoff-Hickey
Mother's Advice - The quilt was put together with each square having a 3-D heart. On each heart everyone that attended the baby shower was instructed to write words of advice to the mother to be. It was so precious and the new mom just cried with joy. It was worth every stitch! The Baby's inital was embroidered in the center block for personalization using my new Bernina QE440.
Sandy's Indiana Puzzle
Name of Maker: Nancy Parker
Sandy's Indiana Puzzle - Our granddaughter was headed for college and picked a picture from a catalog or magazine for her college dorm quilt. I used scraps of her grandpa's shirts.
Star Cats on Ocean Blue
Name of Maker: Marj Sweeney
Star Cats on Ocean Blue
Emily
Name of Maker: Gma
Emily - Embroidered Suzi's Zoo characters. Let Emily pick the colors with help.
Fractured Trellis
Name of Maker: Kathee Sterbenz
Fractured Trellis - This quilt began as a skill building exercise after taking a hand piecing class. The result was thirteen hand pieced Dresden plate blocks stuffed neatly in a drawer for two years. Then came along a class requiring that I bring some finished blocks that were just "hanging" around or more correctly "stuffed away". The result "Fractured Trellis". This quilt is not a thing of beauty but it will warm you as you read on chilly days or cold nights.
Non=Traditional Christmas Tablerunner
Name of Maker: Maryellen Naughton`
Non=Traditional Christmas Tablerunner - This piece uses a couple of Laurel Burch Christmas design blocks with a square-in square twist. I donated this piece to our church for silent auction, and found out that one of my fellow guild members ended up with it!
Mustang Migration
Name of Maker: Maryellen Naughton
Mustang Migration - I combined the Indian Feather Block with Laurel Burch "Mythical Horses" fabric, to provide another southwest design. This "horses of the Plains" quilt is a representation of the wild mustangs who once roamed free on the plains of the southwest. The circular pattern of quilting over the horse squares is a southwest indian migration petroglyph pattern indicating the constand movement of the herd.
Miracle at Little No Horse
Name of Maker: N. McComb
Miracle at Little No Horse - Image as I visualize it from Louise Erdrich's book, "The last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse". "The Rhapsody woke them, Debussy drew them forth, Chopin made them listen and Schubert put them back to sleep. "
Tranquility
Name of Maker: Kathy Miller
Tranquility - I had worked with fusible products on many quilts, but saw a class offered at my local quilt shop - "Fusing to Be Free". It was interesting learning a new technique for fusing. This was the project I did in class. I then gave this to my sister for her birthday.
Only Princesses Are In My Closet
Name of Maker: Debbie Cameron
Only Princesses Are In My Closet - My daughter, Sierra, used to be terribly afraid of the dark and 'monsters' in her closet. I saw this pattern and found some lovely fabric with larger scale princesses, castles, and other fairytale items and decided to put them in her 'closet'. Sierra still sleeps with the lights on, but feels safer with her quilt. She loves to open the doors on the quilt and be surprised at what might be behind it (frog, princess, castle).
Nine-Patch Updated
Name of Maker: Maryellen Naughton
Nine-Patch Updated - I worked feverishly to finish this quilt for the Nine Patch Competition in LaVeta in the Fall of 2005. Unfortunately, as we were also working on building our house at the time, the quilt did not make the competition. I am partial to southwest design work and really like this piece.
