Wooly Bear
Name of Maker: Cass Mullane

Stonehenge?
Name of Maker: Cass Mullane
Stonehenge? - This is a playful use of leftover strips of hand dyed fabrics. I was fiddling around when they struck me as a bunch of leaning monoliths, not unlike Stonehenge.
Little Skipper
Name of Maker: Charlene Federowicz
Little Skipper - For my Grandson's first birthday, I adapted this pattern to include motor boats and changed the light house to look like Barnegat Light House and also added my son's place of business and my daughter and son-in-law's shore house. It's a fun quilt that hangs above my grandson's bed, and he points out his house, Daddy's boat, and other landmarks down the shore, as well as the different shapes used to create windows and sails.
Going in Circles

Wonky 9's
Name of Maker: Cass Mullane
Wonky 9's - "Wonky 9s" is a study in transparency... side to side, up and down. I decided to use the nine patch idea because it lent itself to wonkiness!

Stars for Stephanie
Name of Maker: Debbie A
Stars for Stephanie - I made this quilt for my niece's HS graduation. It is my very first queen size quilt. She wanted bright colors. The stars were paper pieced.
Fans Out Of Africa
Name of Maker: Tiffanee Noack
Fans Out Of Africa - This was my first attempt at quilting....queen size...I do NOT recommend a first quilt this big...My husband bought me my first "very own" sewing machine our first Christmas together, and with it came free lessons and classes whre he purchased the machine. This was a stack n wack class based on the 18* fan ruler. I stacked exact patterns then cut using the ruler so each fan had exact patterns on each piece. I started it in 2001 but it took me till 2005 to actually finish it. I had to tote my sewing machine up and downstairs to my kitchen table everytime I wnated to work on it so therefore it sat a very long time. I was encouraged to finish it for a housewarming gift for my younger sister, as her bedroom theme was to be "Africian inspired".
A House for Les
Name of Maker: Beverly Hart
A House for Les - I made this quilt from a photograph, using a method I learned in a Quilt University class with Betty Alofs: Home Builders. It was a gift for the contractor who built our new home, including a wet and dry studio for me.
Shannon's Serengeti
Name of Maker: Beverly Hart
Shannon's Serengeti - Designed in EQ5, I created blocks to surround a purchased batik panel. Most of the blocks are skewed or distorted. This was my first totally original design, and the first quilt I machine quilted myself.
Eggplant Patch
Name of Maker: Beverly Hart
Eggplant Patch - I made this for my daughter. The block is made of four or five wedge shapes- the magic happens with the color play, since you need to use a wide range of values of one or two colors. I wanted something abstract, so I just kept turning the blocks until I got a design I liked.
