Aunt Louise's Cross Stitch - This quilt was a gift from my Aunt Louise upon my graduation from college. She, along with my mother, was one of my quilting inspirations, particularly of the joy of giving quilts to others. I now make quilts to mark special events in my family's life.

Eastern Pennsylvania Sampler - I participated in the 2006 Eastern PA Quilt Shop Hop, and enjoyed visiting some new shops and some old favorites. I loved the organizers' choice of Jo Morton's Lexington fabric, particularly the border fabric. Each shop's sample had a unique block setting, but I chose my own setting design.

CJ's Twig & Berry - This was a Quilt Class Project that I changed up to be quite different from everyone else. I added more of the red to set off the quilt.

Civil War Battle Lines - My husband is a Civil War buff, so the pattern name caught my eye. I love scrappy quilts, and this is a wonderful pattern for them.

Sue's Mystery - This was an original design by Susan Shively which she taught at "Quilt Camp" run by the Huntington NY Quilters Guild. It was a mystery quilt and we were only told how much fabric to buy and given cutting instructions ahead of time. The sharp points were all paper pieced.

Dawn's Garden - This quilt was made for the "House of Fabrics" quilt contest, "How Does Your Garden Grow," in 1996. Each butterfly is a separete piece, tacked on. It won 2nd place.

CJ's Aquarium - Bright Colors, Aquarium fish in center block with Green,Gold and Deep Pink

Silver Pines Amidst The Snow - This quilt is heavily quilted with metallic and hologram threads, and has about 200 Austailian crystals. Made for contests and the pleasure of it.

Beguiling Argyle - My Grandaughter and I picked out the fabric for this quilt. It has machine embroidery in the center diamonds and some heat set bling.

Cranberry Cocktail - This quilt was my first attempt at foundation piecing. I purchased the printed foundation from a warehouse fabric store in NY. I wanted to try something I had never done before and was able to use fabric I had in my stash. I started it and stopped and lost interest. When my quild had a "UFO" meeting in January, I brought it to the meeting and was challenged to finish it by our end of year party in June (we break for the summer). I started working on the quilt again with new enthusiasm and found I really liked how it was coming along. So much so that I finished it by the middle of February! I gave it to my daughter for her 26th birthday. I used flannel on the back and tied it because she prefers tied quilts. She loved it!!! It's now hanging in her apartment.

Oldie ut Goodie - This is an old cotton quilt that is cross stitched and quilted by hand. I think it is from a printed whole cloth kit. I bought it from a friend of my mom.

Black and White Scraps - I wanted to use my statch and needed something black and whirw

Ozark Spring - This is my attempt at an "art" or landscape quilt. I have visited the Ozarks since I was a child and love the dog wood trees in the spring.

Blue Pineapple - This is an old quilt I bought from a friend of my mom.

Serenity - The quilt was made by me for my mother's birthday in 2000. It was the second quilt I ever made and as I look at it now I'm very proud of it. She recently passed away and now I have it hanging on the wall just outside my quilting room. I imagine her sailing away in "Serenity"

Yet Another Learning Experience (YALE) - I am a beginning quilter but an experienced embroiderer. I wanted to challenge myself with this quilt and I did succeed!The nick name for this quilt is YALE and I feel I have graduated.

Aztec Kaleidoscope - Kaleidoscope design in red, orange, purple, yellow, black. Quilted in variegated thread.

Flower Power - Contemporary design of hexagonal blocks using bright floral print (turquoise, yellow, purple)
