Flaming Dragons
Name of Maker: BetsBlues (Grandma Betty)
Flaming Dragons - My 4th quilt..... Another Christmas gift for a grandson. I used printed dragons and blue/orange flames, lightning bolts, waves on water, lava flow, and night sky fabrics. Then backed it with motorcycles with flames. I hoped it would be appropriate for a 9 year old. I was right. He loves it.
Spidey's Cabin
Name of Maker: BetsBlues (Grandma Betty)
Spidey's Cabin - My 3rd Quilt..... A Christmas gift for my grandson. He loves Spiderman.
Tink Stars in Purple
Name of Maker: BetsBlues (Grandma)
Tink Stars in Purple - I wanted to attempt triangles and needed to make quilts for my grandchildren's Christmas gifts. This is my second quilt. Purple stars around mixed Tinkerbell (R) fat quarters. Sam has loved Peter Pan and Tinkerbell from the time she could see the TV. She has seen all versions, including a live play just this year. When I found the Tink fat quarters, I knew these were made for her. We love the bright colors and way the pattern laid out to make pinwheels and stars. I used all the scraps to make the border. I think I like the border best of all. And I love my granddaughter and her mommy!
For Baby
Name of Maker: Diane Lovitt
For Baby - These flannel squares were donated to our quild's auction. I found a pattern that would accomadate, only had to buy the backing.
Skyler's First Quilt
Name of Maker: Skyler
Skyler's First Quilt - This is my 8 year old granddaughter's first quilt. I cut the fabric she chose into 3" strips. We then constructed the blocks log cabin style. It is backed with Minkee. I have high hopes that she will become a quiter or sewer. Her mom will not sew on a button; if a garment needs mending she just puts it on Ebay!

Hearts & Flowers for Lois
Name of Maker: Wanda Nott
Hearts & Flowers for Lois - These hearts are simply machine appliqued onto 6" squares. The backing is a solid lavender and the quilter, Gloria Walls disagreed with me on using purple thread. She finally gave in and we were both quite happy with the outcome - the back is as special as the front.
