Bright Circles 1
Name of Maker: Brita
Bright Circles 1 - I made a hidden circles quilt from a kit a while ago and while I liked the pattern but thought the colors could be brighter so I made this version. I like this, but bought more fabric and have cut out the pieces for another (hopefully better) version.
Victorian Stained Glass 1
Name of Maker: Brita
Victorian Stained Glass 1 - This is from a free stained glass window pattern by Chantal Pare. 1/4 inch bias tabe was too wide, so I made my own 1/8 inch bias tape. My Symphony
Name of Maker: Karen Mason
My Symphony - This quilt was created for a guild challenge. The challenge was to create our own personal symphony. My symphony is my life and all the pieces create a balanced harmony. My spiritual path is at the center. The lessons learned from previous generations including my mother and grandmother are represented at the top, friends, family and their support are represented on the sides, and the love from my husband is represented by the dancing figures on the bottom. I am very blessed to have his support.
Let's Go Swim

Let's Go Swim - My friends adopted twin baby boys! Their babies' room is a 'Finding Elmo' theme so this quilt design seemed fitting for some years to come.

Robun & Aiko's Shade Cover
Name of Maker: Layna Kinsman

Dog Dreams
Name of Maker: Karen Mason
Dog Dreams - I created this quilt for my dogs to snuggle under. I believe that functional quilts should be used and I do not place any limits on who can use them. I enjoyed making this quilt. The blocks were simple charm squares framed with jelly-roll strips. The dog bone border was made from the scraps. I enjoyed drafting my first original pieced block. The dog bone took a couple of tries, but I finally feel like I got the proportion right.
