A Host of Golden Daffodils - This quilt was inspired by a workshop with Ann Fahl at an Empty Spools Seminar at Asilomar, CA. The design was sketched by my husband from various photographs. It is fused applique' on a patchwork background, thread painted and beaded. The butterfly is 3D - thread painted on organza and applied.

Reaching For Change - I was inspired for the idea of this quilt at a Ricky Tims Retreat in La Veta, CO in May of 2008. It is a representation of myself, and the meaning of it is read on a video from the July 30th Daily Blog, "Retreat Alumni Shares Quilt". If you ever have a chance to attend one of Ricky's retreats, do it for yourself. If will be one of the greatest experiences of your life. This project is the dearest to my heart of any I've made, and my thanks is to Ricky for such wonderful inspiration.
