No Name - The quilt was designed by Lisa Connelly to be auctioned for school fundraiser for 7th grade project. "Contrary Wife" block from EQ6 was used in every other block. Opposite blocks a Psalm was embroidered with varying designs. In the middle of the quilt the school emblem was digitized and embroidered.

Road to Jericho - Quilt was made of 6 blocks from Road to Jericho for a church auction. Ladies groups purchased all the items at the auction and proceeds went to help the mission in Poland aided by the church.

Colorful Citters - This quilt was a baby quilt for my youngest granddaughter, Grace Dunning, now age 2. It was a joy to make for her and have since made several different blankets for her to use. She really likes her latest minke blanket the best I think. She loves soft things. I used a lot of my batik scraps to do this quilt.

Crazy Steps and Lizards? - This is my version of the pattern on the cover of the American Quilter Projects 2007 magazine. I made mine with more blocks that are larger than the original pattern. It is machine pieced & quilted with a machine embroidery lizard motif, free motion quilting (thanks to my BSR), and decorative stitch on the border all with five different variegated threads.

Florida Sunrise - This quilt was designed to match a picture that hung in the guest room of my Mother's house down in Florida. She wanted something bright and colorful. The blues in the quilt are actually more of an aqua shade and over 46 different fabric designs were used in this quilt. Aqua is a hard color to try and match up, so there are several different shade of it in this quilt, plus different shades of yellow, white, orange, and greens.

A Time to Remember - This quilt was commissioned by an old friend of Nancy's to give to her for a Christmas present. There are pictures of Nancy's family within the quilt that she picked out in advance. I used the fabric from Moda's "Withering Heights" collection.

Daffodils Delight - This quilt was especially designed for Virginia Garden Society as an auction item by Ginger Wallach. She wanted to have daffodils (6 stems only) in the quilt. Used Kona Bay fabric and embroidered the other daffodils on my machine, including the center block and small corner blocks in the middle of the quilt.

Sarah's Quilt - These were outfits from childhood of Sarah's including, coming home outfit from hospital through Christmas, Easter, and birthdays. Plus other outfits Mom liked her in.

Abby's Quilt - The blocks were appliqued on by machine depending on size of outfit, then sashing was sewn between the blocks. Outfits were from Abby's collection of baby and little girl clothings.

Mexican Stars - I made this is a class taught by Beth Whitman. Beth used the pattern published by Southwind Designs, but the border is of Beth's own design. It features 3-D "folded" piecing in both the quilt center and in the border. My son's wife fell in love with it, so it's no longer on my wall but on their's!

Winter in Ohio - This was a Christmas present for a son in law who was born and raised in Ohio.
Agate Beach

Agate Beach - This is it. The very first quilt that I tried my Mosaic Picture Piecing method on. It was a complete experiment. Would it work? I was pleased and was encouraged by my friends to teach the method and eventually to write a book about it. The inspiration picture, taken by my husband, was of Dry Lagoon, where we search for agates in the unusual sand.

Jacob's Snails - I make this quilt in a class taught by Peggy Gelbrich, who created this pattern and later published it in Quilter's Newsletter. I've made many quilts since, but it's still my favorite!

Tonbo - This was a team quilt with Linda Jedlicka doing the piecing and Laurie Weiner doing the elaborate quilting design. We were juried into the 2011 Quilt Show at the LaConner Quilt Museum, LaConner, Washington.
