Patsquilts Agate Beach - This is it. The very first quilt that I tried my Mosaic Picture Piecing method on. It was a complete experiment. Would it work? I was pleased and was encouraged by my friends to teach the method and eventually to write a book about it. The inspiration picture, taken by my husband, was of Dry Lagoon, where we search for agates in the unusual sand.
