Colorful Stain glass - My husband help pick out the fabric at Rose's in CA. It is his favorite .. until he wants another favorite.

Christmas convergence - this was very fun to make.

Mom's Luncheon Cloth Revisited - I was inspired by Cindy Needham's featured artist display at 2008 Road to California. I had old linens from my mother who had passed away in 1970, some she did the cut work herself, others I believe were purchased. As a child it was my job to iron the table cloth we used for family gatherings, so this was a way to preserve a memory. The quilt is a smaller luncheon cloth, only 39" square, stitched then beaded with 2 different size of beads.

Amy and Victor's Wedding Quilt - My daughter's wedding quilt.

Aunt Flo's Attic Treasure - When my 96 year old Aunt Flo passed away, we found a cardboard box full of unfinished quilt blocks. I added sashing and put them into a lap quilt. If anyone can date the fabrics, I would love to know approximately when they were created.

Plaids Galore - My first quilt adventure. Spent months traveling to fabric stores hunting down plaids. Every one is different, no repeaters. Had fun and got hooked on quilting.

Asia for Africa - Marvelous class I took taught a more precise and authentic way to make this block. Not as easy or quick as Tracey Brookshier's method, but I'm very pleased with the result. Sold at an auction to benefit orphans in Africa (hence, the name). Guessed at dimensions.

Shirley's Rites of Spring - My first project using charm squares. I made my own square-in-a-square template and alternated with four patches -- easy! I chicked out by stitching in the ditch for the quilting. (But I *am* trying to be braver with projects since this one.) Guessed at dimensions.

Charm Party Tote - 35 Charms were used to make this roomy easy to sew tote bag. I made this in a workshop by Common Threads Quilt Guild in Lafayette, IN which I'm a member. We are a big group of very talented, fun loving crazy ladies

Pink Mini - This measures 5.5 by 7.5 inches. It's my first finished miniature. I used a very small stitch length for the machine quilting because I wanted it to look scale, as much as possible. The "binding" is a tiny satin stitch. The quilting is done diagonally in the center and free motion on the borders. It has taken up residence on a bed in the Loving Family dollhouse :-)

Silent Night - I made this little wall hanging for my mother-in-law before she passed in 12-2008. This represents some of her things she cherished, church, Christmas.

January 2009 Challenge - My version of the BQL Yahoo Group 2009 Challenge. Colours choosen to represent the only flowers (heather) in my garden at this time of the year.

Transitions - This terrific quilt is one of my very favorites. It uses the Strawberry Fields Bali Pop from Hoffman Fabrics and my pattern, Transitions, published by my company, Cozy Quilt Designs.
