Musicians 13 - A wedding gift for two friends. They are both musicians and so the quitl contains 13 musical fabircs - which took some finding!

Beth's fairy coat - I used a 1970's swing coat pattern as the basis for this coat and made the fabric by piecing togehter strips of fabric from all sorts of sources before adding applique fairies. It has beem well used fro dressing up.

The Apple Orchard

The Apple Orchard - The apples in this line by Benartex, called Cider Mill Road by Nancy Halvorsen, inspired me to make the apples the theme of the quilt. I mixed pieced blocks with applique blocks. This quilt just showed up in the #98 issue of 2009 Quilt Almanac! I was very excited!!

A Mariner's Holiday - I designed this quilt around the Christmas tree skirt panels in the line by Benartex called Splendid Holiday. I put the panels in the corners, and designed the side blocks to compliment the mariners compass in the center. This quilt made it to a "photo finish" in the Fall 2008 Fabric Trends magazine!
