De Morgan Gryphon - A contemporary of William Morris, William De Morgan is probably best known for this ceramic tile designs. Quilt is fused applique, machine quilted.
My Own Reflection - This was a fun, play-with-my-fabrics, quick quilt. The rick-rack in the binding added just the right bright finish it needed! It hangs in my living room.
Moonglow - I loved this design from the first time I saw it! When the top was complete I decided it deserved hand quilting. Several years later I finished it.
Poseys and purple - The blocks were made in a "'mystery" class through my local guild. I had so much fun that I went home and added several more blocks and a purple border.
African Travels - I love the fabric designs of Julie Cairns. She lived in Africa and has a terrific eye for the colors and interesting designs. Every year I look forward to her new designs.
The photo shows the quilt as it was displayed in my guild's bi-annual show, "Festival of Quilts" in 2007.
This is a quilt I use on my bed. I give a lot of my quilts away, and I always hope they are being used.
Tami's Sampler - This was a block of the month pattern that was sponsored by Brenda's Quilt Stop in El Dorado Springs, MO. I enjoyed making it alot. The colors were a little out of my comfort zone but now that it is finished I kinda like it. I lean toward the bright colors, But I do love all greens so it was ok. LOL
Wild Horses - I made this quilt in three days and had such a blast. It was my first attempt at free-motion quilting and if you could see the back you would gasp in horror! I forgot to lower the feed-dogs!
Winning Colors - I made this quilt from a bunch of batiks I won in a Fabshop HOp drawing. It has some of my early attempts at machine quilting. It cheers the walls of my home office.
Life Unfolding - Life Unfolding did just that, it unfolding durning the design process. It first revealed a forest, then planets and evolved to an under the ocen image. Stain stitching, yarns and beads add to it energy.
Wild Child - Wild Child is flled ith fun fabrics and vibrant energy. It was a joy to create. I have designed a pattern for this quilt available on m web site: www.babaalsoquiltart.com.
Birdie Chain - I named this one Birdie Chain because it is quilted with a Bird design made by my sister Renee Larson. It is my first quilt (really my second but no one will ever see the real first one, YUCK).
