quilter51 African Travels - I love the fabric designs of Julie Cairns. She lived in Africa and has a terrific eye for the colors and interesting designs. Every year I look forward to her new designs. The photo shows the quilt as it was displayed in my guild's bi-annual show, "Festival of Quilts" in 2007. This is a quilt I use on my bed. I give a lot of my quilts away, and I always hope they are being used.
