Faded Glory
Name of Maker: Beth Hartford
Faded Glory - This quilt was made from a photograph of a rose in my garden. It was past it's prime and made me think of an Alzheimer's patient who had faded like the rose, but you could still see sparks of color if you looked closely enough. This quilt was made and donated to the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative, and sold at the International Quilt Festival in Houston in November, 2010.

State of Grace - BSA
Name of Maker: Marette deJong
State of Grace - BSA - Using Robert Kaufman 2010 Boy Scouts of America fabrics I selected a slightly different set of fabrics for this quilt. This quilt was a commissioned work for Travis, whom had achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2010. I digitized the BSA logo for embellishment of the quilt using the Bernina Embroidery vers 6 software. I also free motion quilted the borders to finish up the quilt.
