Faded Glory - This quilt was made from a photograph of a rose in my garden. It was past it's prime and made me think of an Alzheimer's patient who had faded like the rose, but you could still see sparks of color if you looked closely enough. This quilt was made and donated to the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative, and sold at the International Quilt Festival in Houston in November, 2010.
