Rainbow Logs - This was the cover quilt on a quilting magazine. I made one as a baby gift for my supervisor's first grandson.

Amanda's Dresden Flower - This is the caption in the magazine: Capper's Weekly, a weekly newspaper published since 1897, printed this design in 1935 as a nameless pillow pattern. It is a challenging pieced variation of the familiar appliqued Dresden Plate block. The kite-shaped points in the four corners connect the blocks when they are sewn together. Plain alternating blocks will provide an opportunity to show off some fancy quilting.

A Window on Luther's World - This stained-glass style quilted banner was made to hang on a large wall behind the altar at my church as a general use, all-season banner.

Gardenias in Devin's Garden - I made this quilt for my niece, Devin. She's part Polynesian, so batiks were perfect! The 3-d gardenias in the corners are in honor of her middle name, Kiele, Hawaiian for gardenia.

Himalayan May Apples - Pink/ white Himalayan May Apples appear in the woods in early spring when the ground is bare. Their leaves start out orange/ brown, wrapped like a cloak around the stem. After the flower dies, the leaves open out and turn green.

GRACE - Grace is 12.5 X12.5. It has 1/2" blocks. It was awarded first place at Road to California2007, and has been juried into AQS 2007.

DWR - Started this queen size quilt as a wedding present for my son and his wife. It is entirely hand pieced and hand quilted and it took me 3 years of almost daily work to finish. They received it on their 2nd anniversary!!

Row by Row - This quilt was done on the Quilting Passion Forum as a row by row round robin. My blocks are the applique flowers.

Wilma's Winter Wonderland - Redwork snowmen frolicking in the snow with red snowflakes drifting down.

Twisted Bargello - smaller lap size quilt made with rainbow hues and black kona fabrics.
