Fireplace
Name of Maker: Betty "Ruth" Boyett
Fireplace - My family and I had moved to Florida in July and my husband told me I didn't have room for a fireplace in our new home. I started piecing the top they day after Thanksgiving in 2004. I would work on it one section at a time, taking it to the local quilt shop (Creative Stitches) and throwing it on the floor to toss other fabrics on top of it until I found exactly what I wanted a few fabrics at a time. I became known as the fireplace lady. I hung the finished top on the wall December 22, 2004 and added 22 home made stockings to it representing the children and our grand children. I told my husband to never tell a quilter they don't have room for something because we will find a way.
SNAKE CHARMER
Name of Maker: Pamela Allen
SNAKE CHARMER - I hate vacuuming. The machine is heavy and noisy and anyway, the house needs cleaning again in a weeks time. I want to conjure up a magical Hoover that does my bidding like a snake does for a charmer .If only we could make something as mind-numbing as vacuuming into an exciting and exotic pastime!
Dionnes in Quintland
Name of Maker: Pamela Allen
Dionnes in Quintland - I have depicted the sisters at the beginning of their "career" as world class celebrities. Toddlers, who mercifully perhaps, were not yet aware of their plight. The little tables hold imagery of the three ring circus their lives will become. The quilting too depicts circus performers .
Pretty in Pink
Name of Maker: Lorelei Lysaght
Pretty in Pink - This is a project still under construction. I am quilting each block using one of my machine's Heirloom stitiches. It is taking forever. I have over 90 to do, but I think it will look great when I am done. Lots of soft pinks, my fav.

Name of Maker: Ramona Moreland
Thimbleberries Club Quilt 2007 - I call this quilt 'the monster.' It's almost 8'x10' and very heavy. Lisa Calle of Stone House Quilting in Pottstown, PA quilted it for me, and it looks great!
