Mom's Hummer - I purchased the stained glass quilt pattern before 1999 and I no longer have the information on it. I have searched the internet but haven't located the pattern. I will update this information if I find out more. (maybe an older Bear Paw Production's pattern?)

For Mary Pierce - Years ago I made several paper pieced kimono blocks. Recently, when a friend who loves all things Asian moved away, I took two of the paper pieced kimono blocks and made them into a small quilt for her.

Jeanna's Orient - Designed in EQ with Asian fabrics for a high school graduate.

Noah's Stars - I designed this with EQ a year ago or so; however I have since seen a pattern for sale that is similar in block construction with only one side cut off for the star effect. Made for a high school graduate.

News To Me: Marathon - Newspaper article often inspire irreverent images in my head. I started this series based on some off beat Florida news stories. I call this "clip art collage". On display at the Venice Art Center in a juried exhibition until 8/10/07.

Vallarta Kaleidoscope - Vallarta Kaleidoscope was made for Ricky Tims' Kool Kaleidoscope Show in La Veta. I had wanted to test the technique since attending one of his seminars. Making it was a kick!

What would Freddy do? - The parents of my baby neice wanted a quilt based on the poem by Eugene Field. I found the pattern, but could not bring myself to make it in calico or gingham. I thought - What would Freddy Moran do? And here it is. The words to the poem are printed and fused to the border.

Harmony in Motion - Harmony in Motion was designed to conform to the rules of the 2006 Piecing Partners Quilt Guild Challenge in Colorado Springs, CO. I hand dyed the gray fabric used in the blocks to get the gradation of value. In 2009, I painted black ink on parts of the quilt to better emphasize the swirl design.

Hailing Saint Agatha - Depicts Saint Agatha - Patron saint for Breast Cancer both in applique and by printing images from paintings in the border. Designed for both Robert Kaufman Fabric "Life, Love & Hope" contest and local quilt guild challenge. Original is currently travelling as part of "Life, Love & Hope" exhibit. A second similar quilt is currently for sale on behalf of the Wellness Community of SW Florida.

Night Glow Garden - I designed this fused applique quilt for one show, but did not enter it. Rather I submitted it to American Quilter Magazine. They wanted a smaller quilt which I designed for their Projects 2007 issue.

Tribal Affair - Art quilt made from a commercial panel which was surrounded by quilt blocks and embellished with shells.

Enchanted Snowfall - This pictorial quilt was inspired by an oil painting I did in 1980. To get the feeling of snowfall, I put a layer of sparkle organza over the top of the fused and painted picture before I added the borders.

Fine Fortune - Miniature quilt made for the Albuequerque 2007 Fiber Arts Fiesta. Made from hand dyed cotton fabric for the background and commercial prints and batiks.

Walkin Together - A quilt to comemorate the wedding of my daughter, Rachel. Constructed from my own hand dyed fabrics, with a flash of commercial fabric given to me by a dear friend. A labour of love for her and her future husband, Andrew. One of those creations you have made,when you are glad you giving it to the one you love, because really you'd love to keep it yourself!!

Textured layers - An expression of my own desgn, incorporating all the techniques I love ...applique, layering machine embroidery and embellishing

Lizard Sampler - A quilt made to show and give inspiration to other quilter on Machine embroidery. each Lizard gives a different idea of embellishment, ie; machine embroidery, foiling, painting, solable fabric, beading. I loved making this quilt, and enjoy using as a resource in my workshops.

Celtic Garden for Carla - These flower blocks were my first attempt at hand applique. Batik fabrics were used to get shading in the flowers and leaves.
