gingerquilts Harmony in Motion - Harmony in Motion was designed to conform to the rules of the 2006 Piecing Partners Quilt Guild Challenge in Colorado Springs, CO. I hand dyed the gray fabric used in the blocks to get the gradation of value. In 2009, I painted black ink on parts of the quilt to better emphasize the swirl design.
