Shades of Green - I loved using all batiks for this quilt. Placing all the half-square triangles was like putting a puzzle together.

Kitchen Cheer - Made this in a three-session class using Start Quilting with Alex Anderson book. It was great to leave the class with a finished quilt!

Patriotic Star - I found this free pattern at http://www.quilttownusa.com/Quilt_Gallery/freepatrioticstar.htm and made it in an afternoon.

Magic Ballz - I went to a class which Jan was teaching. Great fun techniques.

I spy - I made a cradle size quilt for a friend's new granddaughter.

Bella Beany - This was a kit and pattern i purchased at the shop. I added extra colours and 6 charms for for daughter. The quilting was by machine in red variegated thread.

Family of dolls - Began in 1994 and finally completed in 2006 while on sick leave.

Waiting for Sarah - I made this blue and yellow french provincial colours in a post and rail pattern out of flannel as a thank you present for a friend.

Green Odessey - I made this quilt in a day class with the designer Deb. A lot of machine quilting tecniques were taught.

Sampler from Alex Anderson's "Start Quilting" - This is the first quilt I made. Machine pieced and quilted. It is all cotton and a cotton batting.

Here Fishy, Fishy - My quilt guild's, Colorado West Quilters Guild, challenge this year was "Yikes Stripes" we had to use this absolutly hideous crazy striped fabric and strange spotty fabric. The only rules were that a noticable amount of both fabrics be used. I saw an area in the stripes that resembled a fish, that was where it began. All four fish, the eel, snails and seaweed were made from the stripe fabric, the starfish and anemone are from the other. The backing fabric is a cat design, hence the name 'Here Fishy, Fishy'. This quilt sold at our Guild action for $75, it is the first quilt I've sold.

Lady Bug's Delight - I found the ladybug maple leaf block on the web, I don't know where, sorry. I used the Rolling Stone block, because it resembled a flower. The backing is baby pink velour so it is very soft. I made this quilt for a friend having her first baby. She had a beautiful baby girl named Isabella. Bella has Down's Syndrome, I hope the bright colors and shapes in this quilt will bring her great joy.

Kitties in the Corner - I made this quilt for a friend's first baby. The baby is a boy and she is a cat lover. The center block is a pattern from a learn to quilt kit, I half sized it for the kitties in the corners.

OU Baby Quilt - My grandaughter is a HUGE University of Oklahoma sports fan, so when they decorated their nursery in OU memorabilia, the quilt was a natural.

Sanderson Star Quilt - Star quilt in green/bronze cotton from a house sale in Barnard Castle, Durham. The quilt has never been used and still has the blue pencil markings of the quilt "stamper" visible.
