Easter Promise
Name of Maker: Kate Beebe
Easter Promise - Promise of Easter in the empty cross. Raw Edge machine appliqued. (need to change way it was displayed...!)
Name of Maker: Patti Hempen
"Organized Chaos" - This is just another of my collection of kaleidoscopes and actually the 5th of this particular pattern. The 100% cotton fabric was a print of bright yellow and gold daises amongst other florals and greenery. What can I say, I'm addicted.
Heron Pond
Name of Maker: Karen Snedeker
Heron Pond - I got a new Bernina 730 & wanted to test the BSR - it is fantastic! You can see the accuracy of the stitches in the free motion leaves surrounding the pond and outlining the leaves in the border. This started as a kit, got swapped mostly for fabrics in my stash, and was enhanced with extra machine quilting. Also added decorative stitches to attach binding and was pleased with results. Love that BSR!
Lacee's Ruby Wedding Ring
Name of Maker: Judy Louderback
Lacee's Ruby Wedding Ring - I had six weeks to make this - yikes! I got it done in three, lots of things I could have/would have done differently if I had more time. Designed in EQ6, machine pieced and quilted on my Pfaff 2040.
Blue Limeaid
Name of Maker: DiLa1
Blue Limeaid - One quilt is a series using 5 very basic templates
Yellow and Blue for You

Hugs and Kisses for Oliver
Name of Maker: Kaye Garner
Hugs and Kisses for Oliver - Baby quilt made with blue and green 1930's fabric
Maine woods
Name of Maker: Deb Titus
Maine woods - I used mostly blocks from the North Woods collection but switched a couple of blocks from other McKenna Ryan patterns to make it more like Maine woods.
JDs North American Bear Paw
Name of Maker: Peggie Wormington
JDs North American Bear Paw - This interesting design swirls and interlocks in a complex way that reminds me of our son John, a complex, sometimes hidden, sometimes revealing personality that is always fascinating. We love you JD!
Mom's Quilt
Name of Maker: Peggie Wormington
Mom's Quilt - I made this quilt because I loved the pattern - but when it was finished it reminded me of my Mom, so decided to give it to her. She has a sunny disposition and loves flowers so the quilt was a perfect fit with her personality!. I think she will be able to use it one or two days per year in Mesa, AZ! Great pattern! This quilt went together quickly!
3 Little Angels
Name of Maker: Patsy
3 Little Angels - I made this for a friend of mine who wanted a pillow of her grand-daughters. Made with bubble jet and my old epson printer.
My sewing tools
Name of Maker: Patsy
My sewing tools - I found this design in EQ5. I took them to make this little mini wall hanger.
shiny star
Name of Maker: Patsy
shiny star - I did this when I took my first PP class. I am not sure of the name of this pattern or what book it came from.
Pink Sunbonnet Sue
Name of Maker: Unknown
Pink Sunbonnet Sue - Painted Sunbonnet Sue blocks purchased by my Grandmother and quilted by my Great Aunt Elsie and her Church Ladies. This quilt was on my bed for a few years while growing up.
Summer Memories
Name of Maker: Me
Summer Memories - I wanted to capture two memories in this Journal Quilt from this summer. The first memory was my daughter and my attendance in La Veta, CO at the taping of The Quilt Show. The guest for that show was Jean Wells, who shared her techniques from her new book "Portraits of Nature". The second memory was from my morning walks - lots of beautiful flowers along the way on my ~2 mile walk! I appreciate the rich colors of these flowers and their brilliance and stregnth at dawn!
