mknavy90 Summer Memories - I wanted to capture two memories in this Journal Quilt from this summer. The first memory was my daughter and my attendance in La Veta, CO at the taping of The Quilt Show. The guest for that show was Jean Wells, who shared her techniques from her new book "Portraits of Nature". The second memory was from my morning walks - lots of beautiful flowers along the way on my ~2 mile walk! I appreciate the rich colors of these flowers and their brilliance and stregnth at dawn!
