Heartland - I was inspired to make this quilt while I was traveling by plane to Colorado. As I flew over the heart of the country and was mesmerized by the patchwork quality and the crop circles of the farmland, I pictured using batik fabric and this crazy curve pattern. I bought most of the fabric in Denver this past summer, and then I picked out the backing and binding fabric in Franklin, TN. The curved piecing wasn't as tricky as I anticipated. I quilted it using my walking foot and a curvy line pattern using King Tut variegated thread.

Paintbox - I pieced all of the blocks by hand, mostly while I was in Denver this summer. I machine pieced the blocks and sashing, and then I machine quilted the top.

Pam's Round Robin - My firsy ever quilt, a round robin by Potters Patchers a group meeting in Wokingham, UK.

Hawaian seas bargello - The colours of this quilt represent the colour of the sea round Hawaii. The first time I had ever seen turquoise and teal coloured sea. The sea is very grey and dark around uk.

Treasures of the deep - Bought in kit form Michael miller fabrics. Still finishing the quilting.

Northwoods Stars - I found this quilt made as a sample in a wonderful quilt shop in northwestern Wisconsin. The pattern and GE Designs fabric were sold as a kit. Love the fabric!

Gone Fishing with John - I used several paper pieced patterns I had for sailboats and used inspiration from The Quilt Show, Jean Wells, in doing a whole cloth quilt and placing little "finished quilts" on the whole cloth. I really like the way it turned out and it's fun to look at!

Dearest Auntie Ruthie - My Auntie is the most important mentor in my life. She has stood by me just like a mother would. It was my honor to honor her request for me to make something to hang in her home. She loves the colors!

Wendy's Gardem - I fell in love with when I just started quilting. It had Cats and Orchids! It took me 2 years to finish the top. This quilt was put into the closet for a few years and forgotten about. Our guild had a guest speaker who specializes in hand quilting. Through the guild I sent this talented quilter, Wendy’s Garden. She did a WONDERFUL job, don’t you think!!

Through my Garden Window - I needed a quilt for my guest bed and found a class that was to be given at my local quilt shop. I brushed up on my skills of hand quilting and got to know the other quilters in the process. It took me 2 years to complete the quilt. Once finished sent the quilt to the Philippines to have it hand quilted. It came back beautiful!!

The Newlyweds: Christopher and Natalie - I learned how to make a portrait quilt in Quilt University's class, Realistic Fabric Portraits with Marilyn Belford, who is now teaching on Academy of Quilting. This is of my son and his wife, and it hung at their reception over a table with 4 inch quilt squares that guests could sign for another quilt I will make for them.

Elks 2019 - A quilt I made for a Memorial Fund Raiser after a friend of ours passed away. He was a member of our local Elk's Lodge and the money went to help his wife who is also our friend and co member.

Kenefick Kountry Weekend - This is a quilt I made for this years fund raiser for the Kenefick Volunteer Fire Dept and Kenefick Civic Center.

Autumn Blades - Lap Quilt made to match and throw over our couch. I named it Autumn Blades cause it reminds me of saw blades.
