Design Source - Description | I was inspired to make this quilt while I was traveling by plane to Colorado. As I flew over the heart of the country and was mesmerized by the patchwork quality and the crop circles of the farmland, I pictured using batik fabric and this crazy curve pattern. I bought most of the fabric in Denver this past summer, and then I picked out the backing and binding fabric in Franklin, TN. The curved piecing wasn't as tricky as I anticipated. I quilted it using my walking foot and a curvy line pattern using King Tut variegated thread. |
