Looking Out Miss Jane's Window - Jane loves birds, she wanted to be able to see the birds all the time, this quilt is machine embroidered using different birds from different embroidery cards.

Kimberly's Expected One's Quilt

Gramp's quilt - I made this quilt for my Dad, using my own hand dyed fabrics. I have used a machine embroidered applique technique. I think the designs are from Sew Swell. I like my quilts to have things hanging from them, so for the sashing squares (if that's what you call them) I cut out squares using my pinking scissors, and then sewed them on using a satin stitch and variegated thread. This quilt is a lap size, and has black polar fleece on the back.

Hand Dyed Flower Quilt - Machine Embroidery and Machine Embroidered Applique techniques are used in this quilt. I have used my own hand dyed fabrics together with black . I have added buttons in the sashing blocks. It is backed with Polar fleece.

Pink Hand pieced Dresden Plate - The outside pieces of the dresden plate were sewn by hand. The centre piece was made and a circle pattern was machine embroidered around the edge. Gathered lace was placed under the centre circle before sewing onto the bottom piece. A button was sewn in the centre.

Autumn Leaves - Machine Embroidered Applique using my own hand dyed fabrics. The blocks are set ön point", and the edge and corner triangles are a commercial black with autumn toned leaves. The first and third borders are my hand dyed fabric also.

Red and White - This little quilt was made for a doll swap on about.com The swapper wanted a red and white quilt.

Remembrance 20th Anniversary - Made to celebrate Lisa & Alans 20th Wedding Anniversary, the pink is a piece of the dress I wore as their maid of honor. I'm such a packrat!

Feyenoord quilt - I've made this quilt for my son, who loves soccer.

Moonlight Flowers - This quilt was created as an Embroidery Block of the month class sample for a local quilt shop.

Looking at you looking at me - Isn't he fun?!! This is a very challenging foundation pieced pattern from the Quilts with Style magazine which is, sadly, no longer in publication. Since this photo, he has turned into a great, big cushion which sits and keeps lookout from my daughter's bed.
