Gramp's quilt - I made this quilt for my Dad, using my own hand dyed fabrics. I have used a machine embroidered applique technique. I think the designs are from Sew Swell. I like my quilts to have things hanging from them, so for the sashing squares (if that's what you call them) I cut out squares using my pinking scissors, and then sewed them on using a satin stitch and variegated thread. This quilt is a lap size, and has black polar fleece on the back.

Hand Dyed Flower Quilt - Machine Embroidery and Machine Embroidered Applique techniques are used in this quilt. I have used my own hand dyed fabrics together with black . I have added buttons in the sashing blocks. It is backed with Polar fleece.

Pink Hand pieced Dresden Plate - The outside pieces of the dresden plate were sewn by hand. The centre piece was made and a circle pattern was machine embroidered around the edge. Gathered lace was placed under the centre circle before sewing onto the bottom piece. A button was sewn in the centre.
