Door and Window Quilt - I made this quilt for our company- we make wcustom wood doors and windows and I found this fabric on Keepsake quilting web site. I fussy cut all the doors and windows out and appliqued them to the ohio star blocks. The quilt hangs proudly at our shop... and also is the background for our picture on our B&B doors we site.

With all the fall colors, I thought it looked very masculine and so I gave it to one of my nephews. The quilting pattern is Autumn Leaves. This quilt was shown at the Empire Quilters Guild show, Urban Inspirations, in New York City in March 2006.

Wild Thang on the Road to Oklahoma - This quilt was made using teeshirts from various ballooning events around the country, the large balloon is "Wild Thang" which is owned and operated by the owner of this quilt - I needed a filler block and since the owner is originally from Oklahoma, the Road to Oklahoma block just fit. The colors of the block are from the balloon. This photo is of the top before it was quilted.

A Pond with A View

A Pond with A View - I have several goldfish and some volunteer frogs who live in my backyard pond. This quilt is a representation of my pond and its inhabitants. The background is pieced -- including the water lily "stems" -- and the remaining pieces are machine appliqued. I learned how to marble fabric while making this quilt and used the marbled fabric for the goldfish.

valentine - this small postcard size quilt was made for my husband as his valentine card 2008. it is approxemetly 3 by 5 and is fusable appliqued and machine quilted. in fact my first attempt at machine quilting. it is not perfect but neither am i and he still loves me.
