SCRAPPING BEAUTY
Name of Maker: LYNN ALEMAN
SCRAPPING BEAUTY - FOR YEARS, I SAVED MY FAVORITE FABRICS, MOST BY LONNI ROSSI. I COULDN'T DECIDE IF I SHOULD CUT THEM INTO SMALL PIECES OR USE LARGE PANELS, SO I DID BOTH. THIS QUILT IS MADE FROM THE SCRAPS OF A LARGE PANEL QUILT. IF IT WEREN'T FOR KATIE MASOPUST, I WOULD HAVE NEVER ADDED THE LIGHT SQUARES. SHE TAUGHT ME SO MUCH ABOUT COLOR/VALUE. THE BACK IS MINKE AND VERY SOFT. IT IS QUILTED IN A CIRCULAR PATTERN. I LOVE THE BACK AS MUCH AS THE FRONT. I USED RICKY TIMS TECHNIQUE TO PUT ON THE BINDING WITH NO HAND SEWING. I MUST HAVE PLAYED THAT VIDEO A DOZEN TIMES, BUT I GOT IT! Linda Theifolt quilted it.
BIRTHDAY CONETTI
Name of Maker: LYNN ALEMAN
BIRTHDAY CONETTI - FOR MY 50TH BIRTHDAY, I HAD A QUILT PARTY WITH 7 WOMEN IN MY QUILT GROUP. I INVITED CINDY GEIST, A QUILTER FROM ONE OF MY GUILDS TO TEACH AT MY PARTY. THIS IS A PROJECT (3 SEPERATE QUILTS THAT GO TOGETHER) I MADE AT MY PARTY. HOW MUCH BETTER CAN IT GET THAN SPENDING A BIRTHDAY WITH GREAT FRIEND QUILTING?
ANNIE'S HEARTS
Name of Maker: LYNN ALEMAN
ANNIE'S HEARTS - I MADE THE CENTER OF THE QUILT WHEN RICKY TIMS CAME TO ANN ARBOR, MI QUILT GUILD. I PROMISED MY DARLING, LITTLE NIECE ANNIE A QUILT, SO ADDED ONTO THE CLASS PIECE. THE GIRLS HOLDING HANDS IS FROM A BOOK I CAN NO LONGER LOCATE. I SWITCHED TO HEARTS AROUND THE SIDE TO GET IT DONE QUICKER! THERE WAS A LOT OF FUSSY CUTTING AND MACHINE APPLIQUE ON THIS QUILT. WHEN I GAVE IT TO MY NIECE AND SHE SAID TO HER MOM " I LOVE IT MAMA" I WAS SO HAPPY! I TOLD HER THAT THE 2 HEARTS ON THE QUILT REPRESENTED ONE FOR HER AND ONE FOR ME, SO THAT EVEN THOUGH WE LIVE FAR APART, OUR HEARTS ARE ALWAYS TOGETHER.
Kaleidoscope Garden
Name of Maker: Marilyn Foreman
Kaleidoscope Garden - Plant a beautiful garden sprinkled with four-patch kaleidoscopes and multi-colored petals! Large feature print mixed with many coordinating fabrics.
Kendra's Quilt
Name of Maker: Anita Bedsole and Kendra
Kendra's Quilt - This is a quick and easy project my 12 year old neice and I made together for her first sewing project. It went together quickly and she is so proud of it. We varied from the original pattern instructions by strip piecing the sashing blocks. It was great fun.

Stairway to Halloween Heaven
Name of Maker: Karen Brown Snedeker
Stairway to Halloween Heaven - Made for friends who love Halloween. Started with purchased pattern and adapted to my stash and Halloween. We're Not In Kansas Anymore, II
Name of Maker: Karlyn Bue Lohrenz
We're Not In Kansas Anymore, II - The inspirations of fiberartists Hollis Chatelain, Caryl Bryer Fallert, Barbara Olson and the great story from L. Frank Baum brings this piece to surface. I hope my interpretation of the journey to Emerald City stirs the emotions of the child in all of us.
Summer Glow
Name of Maker: jstenkamp

Christmas Cardinals
Name of Maker: jstenkamp
Christmas Cardinals - Created by fussy cutting the cardinals and creating the inner log cabin border by using various red, greens and browns.
