Avon Inspiration
Name of Maker: Beverley Linsley
Avon Inspiration - I was inspired by a Avon Catalog to make this quilt. There was a photograph of a model wearing a beautil shear dress in all colors of blues and greens. To me it was the most beautiful color combination I have every seen. This was my first quilt and not having the knowledge regarding different types of blocks, I found instructions on the internet for this faux log cabin block. Beverley Linsley
1st Anniversary
Name of Maker: Beverley Linsley
1st Anniversary - First Wedding Anniversary quilt for my beautiful daughter Jennifer and Son-In-Law. Being a newbie quilter back in 2006, I found instructions for the block on Block Central website. When putting the block together on my design board, I changed the direction of the block pieces. To me it looked more appealing. I have learned so much since 2006, I know I would have used more colors in the quilt; however, for my second quilt, I felt proud and giving it away was the best part. Quilt was presented to my daughter and son-in-law in Satellite Beach, FL while we were visiting my oldest Son. They loved the quilt and that is all that mattered to me. Beverley Linsley

Name of Maker: Beverley Linsley
Another Time - Picked this pattern up at Hancock Fabrics. I loved the vintage appeal and colors the yellow/blue.
Southern Stars
Name of Maker: Beverley Linsley
Southern Stars - I can't remember just where I located this pattern, however, I though it was just beautiful with the added Pinwheel blocks in the 1st border. It is a striking wallhanging. I made this for my Son and his wife. They are a military family and the stars suited them well. On the label I wrote "Stiched by my hands with Love from my Heart - Mom".
Air Force
Name of Maker: Beverley Linsley
Air Force - I found this pattern in a quilting magazine; however, for the life of me I can't remember which one. I appliqued the Air Force Logo in the middle of the star. Since my Son is a CMSgt in the USAF I thought he would love the design - HE DID! I believe the size was 45x45 however it may be a little smaller. I am unable to located my notes on this quilt, so I have to give an estimate on the quilt size.
Stingray
Name of Maker: Carolyn Fredrickson
Stingray - Poppy, the owner of 'HangYourQuilt.com' came to a quilt group meeting with me and on the way home she challanged me to make a diamond shaped quilt to go with a concept she had been working on. I said that I would try but I didn't know when it would be done as I had no idea of what to do. I really didn't even know how to quilt. The next morning when I woke up my head was dancing with ideas. This one was actually the wrong dimensions and I made another one but this is the one she like best and purchased.
