Too Pink
Name of Maker: Sujielee
Too Pink - Too Pink was adapted from the book "Shadow Quilts" by Patricia Magaret & Donna Slusser. It was machine quilted by Paula Reid. Yes, it's too pink but was fun to make anyway.
Penguins and Candycanes
Name of Maker: Wanda and Ed Travis
Penguins and Candycanes - I picked out the cutest green Penguin flannel and red diagonal stripped flannel, which reminded me of a candy cane. My husband and I worked together on this quilt. We made this for his 11 yr old daughter Paige and we are going to do another one just like it for her older brother Austin, 16 yrs old. It went pretty fast and it was extra fun getting to spend the time together with my husband.
Honeymoon in Bonaire
Name of Maker: Wanda Travis
Honeymoon in Bonaire - I found this wonderful fabric that had underwater scenes on it and it reminded me of the natural beauty that we saw in Bonaire. We went there for our honeymoon and went scuba diving multiple times. We also obtained some fabric from Bonaire that I encorporated into the quilt. On the outside, I did a freestyle wavy cut ( Ricky showed me how) while looks like flowing water around the island. This quilt means a lot to both of us. I still have some quilting to do on it. I want to make it special. It also have some wonderfully hand died Ricky Tims material in it that just brings it alive - ( thanks Ricky and Justin)

Civil War Rag edge quilt - I made this rag edge quilt in 2002 when my son and I were in Civil War re-enacting. It kept us quite warm when we were camping out in the cooler weather. Each block has a quilt motif embroidered on it,

One is Enough
Name of Maker: Sujielee
One is Enough - The center block is from Carol Doak's book, "Bright & Bold Paper-Pieced Blocks". I was going to make a large quilt from this pattern, but decided "One is Enough" after finishing the first block. So . . . I turned it into a wall hanging by adding corners and a border. I don't think paper-piecing is my thing. Since it is small, I hand quilted it.
Flower Garden
Name of Maker: Judy Rittmeyer
Flower Garden - I got the idea for this quilt from a picture I saw in Quilter's Newsletter (I think) of Judy Dale's first quilt. We had just learned to do "English Paper Piecing" at our guild meeting. I thought it would be fun to try making flowers like I had seen in Judy's quilt and a way to use up scraps. Well, six years later I finally finished it. The border is my (with lots of husband input) design. The quilting was suggested by Harriet Hargrave in a class I took on "How to Quilt Your Quilt". By the way I really don't enjoy hand sewing! Seemed like a good idea when I started.

Linda's Baltimore Christmas Quilt
Name of Maker: Linda D. Martindale
Linda's Baltimore Christmas Quilt - The quilt in the magazine was made from a panel. I decided to embroider my 5 blocks and I was able to locate the border fabric from the Mimi Dietrich's Baltimore Museum of Art collection.
Thanksgiving table runner
Name of Maker: Mary Ashcraft
Thanksgiving table runner - stencilled, hand painted, free-hand stitched
Steve's Guitars
Name of Maker: Judy Rittmeyer
Steve's Guitars - My son Steve is big time into playing music. He has been playing guitar since High School so when I saw this pattern on P & B's web site, through the "Quilt Show" web site I might add, I wanted to make it for him. I couldn't find the fabric anywhere in Maine, where I live, so I choose ones I liked and I'm pleased with the results. It's a 37th birthday present so I hope he likes it.
Mom's Garden Treasures
Name of Maker: Suzy
Mom's Garden Treasures - My mom saw this in one of my quilting catalogs. When she said she liked it I offered to make it for her as a Christmas gift, but little did I know when she saw the pattern she asked me to enlarge it to a Cal King. so here it is. The blocks are on point.
Wheel of Mystery
Name of Maker: Karen Mason
Wheel of Mystery - I bought this as a precut kit. Had this not been precut, I probably would never had made it. Kits can be a good thing. This was my first experience sewing curves. This was a great learning experience.
Christmas Sampler
Name of Maker: Nancy Coleman
Christmas Sampler - 12 Blocks were from the patterns of my guild's Block of the Month in 2005. The blocks were made from a selection of Christmas fabrics from a "Sweet Treat' pack plus fabrics added as needed. The setting was done on EQ5. Quilting was done by Lynne Turner-Liro on her APQS long-arm.
The Lady of the Lake
Name of Maker: Georgia
The Lady of the Lake - Making a special quilt for all the grandkids, {I'm a fairy tale lover} this is for Laikon, my oldest. I make them as inspiration hits me with all my favorite subjects. The faces are loosely based on the child but that requires real talent to make a match, sooo.
Wedding Quilt
Name of Maker: Sari Maendel
Wedding Quilt - I have been quilting for about 5 years already and the six quilts I've made have always belonged to somebody else (friends/aunts ect...). This is the first quilt I made with me in mind, my favorite colours and a pattern I picked. I loved each minute of making it, even the stippling...... Quilting is one of my passions...
Night Stars for my Friends
Name of Maker: gail.designs
Night Stars for my Friends - I wanted to make the friendship star block without points to match. My corner triangles don't quite meet the corner of the square which make the back a beginner patch.
