rittmeyer Flower Garden - I got the idea for this quilt from a picture I saw in Quilter's Newsletter (I think) of Judy Dale's first quilt. We had just learned to do "English Paper Piecing" at our guild meeting. I thought it would be fun to try making flowers like I had seen in Judy's quilt and a way to use up scraps. Well, six years later I finally finished it. The border is my (with lots of husband input) design. The quilting was suggested by Harriet Hargrave in a class I took on "How to Quilt Your Quilt". By the way I really don't enjoy hand sewing! Seemed like a good idea when I started.
