transportation quilt
Name of Maker: Dayledbl
transportation quilt - This was from a panel I bought at the Vermont Quilt show. I couldn't resist it and didn't know what I was going to do with it I did know that I had to use it up in one quilt. My friend Barbara from work had a new grandson. I used flannel for the back. It reminds me of the 1950's, when I was a child.
Tina's Canadian Maple
Name of Maker: Linda Clark
Tina's Canadian Maple - This two block quilt combines four patch and nine patch in a novel way. Seams inside the blocks match, but between blocks it’s mathematically impossible. The result is unexpected harmony.

circle of hugs
Name of Maker: kukana31
circle of hugs - This quilt was made for my daughter who had joined the Peace Corps and was sent to Senegal West Africa. The quilt is made with some of my vast collection of snowflake material, as our family loves winter and snow. Our daughter has been skiing since age 3, our dog's name is Snowflake -ect. so the use of these fabrics would remind her of home. I used the kaleidescope motive since it gives the impression of circles(hugs). She has left the Peace Corps and is doing some traveling and is currently in Australia.

For Internal Use Only
Name of Maker: Cindy Lawrence
For Internal Use Only - A friend had all these crown royal bags and asked me if I could make him a quilt with them. So I did. It is a king size quilt. The top is made strictly of crown royal bags all pieced together into 6 inch squares. It was a long process of putting all of these bags together. When I presented him with his finished quilt and pillow shams I asked him what the name should be. He said that all that crown over the years was for internal use only, hence the name.

Wild Animals - Very scrappy for me. Sewed whatever came to me.

Chanticleer and Company
Name of Maker: Joy M. Bernhardt
Chanticleer and Company - I started this quilt over 10 years before I completed it. It was a class offered by Oklahoma Quiltworks. It turned out so well. I am glad I waited until my skills had improved.

The Birdhardts
Name of Maker: Joy M. Bernhardt
The Birdhardts - I started out learning to paper piece birdhouses. Decided to add some machine embroidery with my Artista software. Grandchildren wanted to "help" so I told each of them if they would draw a birdhouse that I would digitize it and make a block with it, which I did. Later, I decided we needed to have some birds to live in the birdhouses, so I digitized birds to represent each member of the family. This quilt is a treasure to me, but I'm sure rather strange to anyone else, lol. I learned so much doing it and it was one of the first quilts to be done on my Millennium longarm purchased in June of 05.
Strawberry Sundae
