Design Source - Description | I started out learning to paper piece birdhouses. Decided to add some machine embroidery with my Artista software. Grandchildren wanted to "help" so I told each of them if they would draw a birdhouse that I would digitize it and make a block with it, which I did. Later, I decided we needed to have some birds to live in the birdhouses, so I digitized birds to represent each member of the family. This quilt is a treasure to me, but I'm sure rather strange to anyone else, lol. I learned so much doing it and it was one of the first quilts to be done on my Millennium longarm purchased in June of 05. |
