Floral Stash Quilt - This class was the result of a class taught by Carol Doak in Lee's Summit, Missouri

Heartland Album - This quilt is hand appliqued using the needle-turn technique. There are many dimensional flowers and buds on this quilt. I saw one of the samples in the book that used the plaid background fabric and fell in love with it. We just happened to have similar fabric at my LQS so I figured it was meant to be. We have started an applique group at the store and this was what we did as a block of the month project. Each month I demostrated what new technique there was in the block. Most are still working on it, but several have finished their quilts.

American Pie ala Moda - The eagle and cockcomb variation blocks were found in Electric Quilts Folk Art Applique CD. The fabrics used were from the Moda Challenge from several years ago. It is heavily machine quilted on my home sewing machine. The applique is machine blanket stitch.

Tennessee Waltz - This is an Eleanor Burns pattern. It was quick and easy to make though I did not do it in a day.

Celtic Medallion I - Machine appliqued and machine quilted. The Celtic pattern is from the Celtic font purchased from www.clanbadge.com.

Summer Flowers - This quilt was started in a class taught by Judy Niemeyer.

Lacy Pinwheels - This is the cover quilt on my new book, Fun With One Block Quilts. Every block is the same, just different colorations and different sizes. I used over 2000 yards of Superior's King Tut Thread to quilt it!

Fushia - Fushia quilt was started in a class taught by Ruth McDowell. I bought a fushia plant so I would have lots of flowers to choose from for the quilt. The plant had one blossom at the time I needed the pictures for the quilt. The blossom made it into the quilt.
