I am so thrilled that my granddaughter is also interested in quilting. This is her first quil. I am sure it want be her last.

Roses for Warriors - Leta Brazell designed most of the blocks. This was my first large applique project and I loved it. I gave it to my sister, Mary, for Christmas, 2006.

Meeting at the Reef - I wanted something colorful and different for my downstairs bathroom. This fits the bill but there was so much handwork on it.

Star Crossed - This quilt represents a departure in the use of color for me. The majority of the fabrics are from the Wuthering Heights series by 3 Sisters for Moda. Values are mostly in the mid-range and the contrast in the quilt is almost all based on hue rather than value. This was the first serious quilt that I quilted on my Viking Mega Quilter and frame, using pantograms, and quilting three different patterns in the borders, corners, and middle. It was quite a learning experience for me, but on the whole I am very pleased with the way it turned out.

Beyond the Color Purple Machine Embroidered Quilt

Interlocking memory - wip but getting closer... - This quilt, which is still a work in progress but almost done now, was made from scraps left over from everything from halloween costumes to christmas gifts. Every fabric is a memory. It even has bits from clothes I made each of my children as babies. It is a practice quilt and was my first attempt at a DWR. Hopefully I will have the quilting finished and have it bound soon.

Reflections from a Blue Moon - Reflections: images once removed

25 Sunsets - Every time I see a beautiful sunset I think “if I saw those same colors in a painting I would think they were not realistic looking”. I am constantly awestruck by the intense and varied colors of sunsets. My imagination can not compare to the real thing.

Lake Reflections at Sunrise - Brilliant oranges and reds appear in the sky as the sun comes up on a summer day. There are a few moments right at sunrise when the water is very blue in contrast to the orange and red reflections of the rising sun. This quilt was juried into Expressions: The Art Quilt.

Turquoise at Cedar Mesa - Turquoise is an enduring symbol of the American southwest.

Archipeligo - Felt making is a labor of love. This quilt evolved from a piece of resist-dyed dimensional felt that I made. It is inherently satisfying to make a quilt that is evidence of your own hand from start to finish – from making the fabric to the last stitch taken in the quilting.

Molti Colori - No fiber has more color vibrancy than silk, hence its use in textiles throughout history to create glorious color to adorn our bodies and our lives.

Welcome Eli - Made for the first born grandson. Embroidered with a Noah's Ark theme. The boy is now 2 1/2 and likes talking to the animals at bed time.

Irish Chain - A wedding gift for my son and his wife.
