Fruit Punch Version #1 - Classic bowl of fruit theme updated with bold, contemporary fabrics. One of three different variations of the same pattern.

Memories - I made this quilt to be auctioned off at a benefit for the local community college. I attended the auction and know who won, but this person was planning to give the quilt as a gift, so I don't really konw where it ended up. I just hope whoever has it enjoys is as much as I enjoyed making it.

Richelle's Quilt - My granddaughter, (11 yrs) and I made this quilt together. Richelle drew the figures of her family, she chose the fabrics and we cut them out and raw edge appliqued them.

Purple Passion - The blocks were embroidered on black chamois left over from making many Jedi cloaks. The purple is a commerical flannel batik. The back of the quilt has black triangle border with the purple in the center,

Electric Table Runner - I called this table runner "electric" because the colors just light up the room. This is one of those you have to see in person.

PBQG Challenge 2007 - SUMMER - crayon on muslin, applique butterflies with stones. thread painted, curved edges.

Folk Art Stars - This miniature quilt started as a Buck A Block project from my local quilt shop. Each block was to measure 10" square, however, I adapted them to measure 2" square. I then set them in a medallion-style setting. Won Viewer's Choice at NQA Little Quilt Auction; purchased by Karen O'Connor of Red Rooster Quilt Shop in Columbus, Oh in 2008.

Wild Dreams - The X-Block tool is a new tool that allows the quilter to make lots of new types of designs with it. I found it wonderful to work with. There is absolutely no waste when you're finished, and it's fun to see the designs come to life under your hands.

Inner Star of Navigation - This quilt used all of the Beyer 1999 Basic Realities color palette. There at 38 colors. I loved working with the colors and learning Jinny Beyers color theory ideas as I worked. I modified the pattern substituting the Flying Geese and the Seminole border for a checkerboard of mauve and rose. I like the movement the play of color across the geese gives to the design.

Off Your High Horse - I made this quilt as a donation to the NQA Little Quilt Auction. Wool bat and free motion quilted using YLI silk thread.

Purple Haze - This quilt was inspired by a log cabin, but, is organic in nature.

Country Stars - This was made of Moda Charm Packs. It was raffled by the Camdenton Lion's Club.

Haley - This quilt was made for my second oldest niece's graduation as a gift from her parents.

Hanna - This was made for my niece's serior basketball celebration. I used photo transfer fabric with photos of her throughout her basketball career.

Summer Succulents - The beautiful symmetry of succulent leaves inspired this design. The original photo of the Aeonium succulent is green. Quilt is machine appliquéd and quilted with metallics, embroidery, and other specialty threads on a Handi Quilter HQ-16.
