PattyinFlorida Inner Star of Navigation - This quilt used all of the Beyer 1999 Basic Realities color palette. There at 38 colors. I loved working with the colors and learning Jinny Beyers color theory ideas as I worked. I modified the pattern substituting the Flying Geese and the Seminole border for a checkerboard of mauve and rose. I like the movement the play of color across the geese gives to the design.
