Above the Clouds - As you drive down the mountain to Napa you can see the balloons early in the morning. A spectacular site. Made for my youngest daughters family to hang in their beautiful home on Lake Berreyesse.

Hang in There - This is a "art Quilt". Three log cabin blocks were constructed from handyed fabrics, machine embroidered and heavily beaded. I was in the Ohio Designer's Craftsman showw in 2001 and purchased from that show.

softball t-shirt quilt - This quilt was made with 12 t-shirts. I used wonder-under and fused the t-shirt to muslin. Then pieced them together with cotton material borders and sashing.

Koala's Flying High - I made this quilt for a couple in our church who was having a baby boy. I just love the Koala's in the airplane fabric.

Lone Star - This quilt is made from a quilt smart kit! It uses printed innerfacing. It was fun putting it together and all the points matched up! Yahoo!!

marathon t-shirt quilt - This quilt was made with 16 t-shirts. I used wonder-under and fused the t-shirt to muslin. Then pieced them together with cotton material borders and sashing.

It's All Instrumental - This sampler quilt was made for our band director when he retired. It was made under the direction of Adult Ed instructor Marty Frolli.

Steelers

It's All About Me - I usually make quilts for others. I made this quilts in these soothing floral fabrics during a difficult time in my life. It was a great comfort to me to work on this quilt FOR ME!

Sun Storm - I saw a picture in the newspaper of a backdrop with a large sun and thought it would be a great opportunity to practice setting in a circle and lots of raw edge applique.

Nemesis - This started out as a practice piece but I liked it so much I finished it. I was practicing Libbie Lehman's bobbin drawing.

Down The Lazy River - Small whole cloth quilt; backing my hand dyed fabric. It's not totally rectangular and the edges are raw edge scallops.

I Found the Frog - This tiny quilt was donated to the Alzheimer Quilt Initiative and sold at the Houston Quilt Show in 2006.

Quilt for Ross - This is a quilt-as-you-go pattern. I took a class in it from the designer, Susan Nelson, at the Minnesota Quilters Show in 2006. I made it for my best friend who had been a great support to me and my family during difficulties with my daughter. I selected "woodsy' prints to represent time spent at his family's cabin on Lake Michigan.

Slice of Florida - Slice of Florida is my interpretation of the traditional block, Robbing Peter to Pay Paul. This quilt features applique, trapunto and crystal embellishments. There are over 1700 crystals on the quilt. All of the quilting designs are my original designs made just for this quilt. The quilting was done on an A1 Elite/ CompuQuilter longarm. Slice of Florida won 2nd place at MQX 2007 in the Quilts of the Future category.

Serendipity Seas - Assorted textures surround bright tropical fish. Entirely scraps and remnants. Made specifically for use on the floor, to lay the baby on when she has her baby exercise sessions.

Windmill in Red & White - Block idea from pattern, size & layout changed. Fun quilt to put together.

Gothic Corset - Gothic Corset was made for entry into the MQX 2007 quilt show in the Special Occasion Vest category where it won 1st place. The corset is made of black velvet quilted in copper metallic thread with the Victorian Motif pattern by Ellen Munnich on my A1 Elite/Compuquilter longarm. A ball gown skirt was made to accompany the corset.
