Chenille Flutterbies - I just finished this quilt for Brewers Sewing Supplies as a model at spring market. It will be in the mail to Chicago this week.
Chinese - It was a central focus fabric with a pieced border. Donna Laing quilted it with love and added individual designs in each umbrella and a Chinese symbol in the center of the quilt. My sister is enjoying her quilt.
Are you my Mother? - I made this quilt because of my grandson's love of cars and construction equipment. It is also representative of one of his favorite books, "Are You My Mother", in which there is a 'Snort'...steamshovel.
All the monkeys - this quilt was made for my mother's 85th birthday. all the 'monkeys' (family members) are in place. they are in order of birth, order of weddings and order of birth of grand annd great grandchildren.
Go Fish - This quilt was made using 'tropical fish' colors and some wonderful bubble and fish design fabrics to go with the decor of my granddaughters room.
My First Quilt - This is the very first quilt I have ever made, and I am very happy with it. It is stitched-in-the-ditch with machine stitched hearts instead of tying the middle of the 3.5 inch blocks.
My Second Quilt - Strip pieced quilt with blocks set on point, moving from dark to light as the quilt progressed. This is the second quilt I have ever made, and the first on which I have done free-motion quilting.

Matthew's Gift - Made for my firstborn daughter in memory of her son, Matthew, who always gave her a daffodil for her birthday. He died on May 16, 2003 at age 14.
Mighty Max - This was made of all blue sky, moon, star fabrics and sunny yellows for the birth of my grandson, Max in November of 06. This was my very first quilt.
Byron - Susan's favorite cat is featured in another pet quilt. His fur is portrayed with couched eyelash knitting yarn. Our cat, Inky, was especially fond of that quilt.
The Life of Wine - My husband Dan chose these fabrics at a SantaFe Quilt Shop so that I would make a quilt for him to hang over a special wine rack which he built.
Color Convergence - This is my first attempt at a convergence quilt. Once you do one, they are quite addictive. This one has gold metallic paint stamped on the border. Not quilted yet but my friend and quilter, Sue Bunch, will be working on it soon.
North Dakota Skies - This fabric was purchased on a trip to North Dakota. The mirror blocks reflect the Sun, Moon and Stars as seen in the vast skies of No. Dakota.
Remembering Napili Kai - After vacationing in Maui, I fell in love with Hawaiian quilting. From the "snowflake" method of cutting the design, to the hand applique and hand quilting, it's satisfying work.
