Yo-Yos Cubed Pincushion
Name of Maker: Denise A. Buchwalter-Losczyk
Yo-Yos Cubed Pincushion - This 3 dimensional yo-yo design, is from my own design. I first came up with a design for a related Yo-Yo Ornament in the 1990s, and I have wanted to share the designs for awhile. The pattern is available on www.Patternspot.com, at http://patternspot.com/patterns/sewing-patterns/4705-yo-yos-cubed-pincushion-amp-3-ornaments. Pattern also includes instructions for 3 variations of the Yo-Yos Cubed Ornament design.
Westward Ho
Name of Maker: Judy Lyon
Westward Ho - “Blazing trails across the years, Blessed honored Pioneers.” Westward Ho honors the brave men and women who forged across our continent. It contains Native Americans, Pony Express, Trappers, Covered Wagons, Music and Dance around the campfire, Landmarks, Bison and Pronghorns, even my blind Great-Grandfather holding to the back of the wagon -- all bound together within the spokes of a Wagon Wheel.
Yo-Yos Cubed Ornaments
Name of Maker: Denise A. Buchwalter-Losczyk
Yo-Yos Cubed Ornaments - These 3 dimensional yo-yo ornaments are my own design. I first made them in the 1990s. I sold them at the Illinois Artisans Shop in Chicago, IL, during holiday season. I've recently redesigned them and created a related pincushion design. The pattern is available on www.Patternspot.com, at http://patternspot.com/patterns/sewing-patterns/4705-yo-yos-cubed-pincushion-amp-3-ornaments.
It's Gonna Blow
Name of Maker: Judy Lyon
It's Gonna Blow - Brrr! Frothy seas and driving snow pummel Portland Light in this impressionistic bargello quilt. Original quilting Meadowlyon pantograph patterns, “Nor-Easter,” Salty Seas,” and “Whale of a Tail,” add interest and detail.
Pink Squares
Name of Maker: Judy Lyon
Pink Squares - “Everything today is thoroughly modern!” So I couldn’t resist trying it. I wanted to piece some squares from striped fabric. I used Kaffe Fassett stripe and a plain pink background. Luckily I found the strips for the large box in my “stash.” I quilted this piece with MeadowLyon’s “Modern Squares” pantograph.
Lewis & Clark Trails
Name of Maker: Judy Lyon
Lewis & Clark Trails - Wanting to create a Lewis & Clark Commemoration Quilt I designed 2 continuous-line medallions depicting Lewis, Clark Sacagawea and their discoveries. I chose the Indian Trails block to carry on the theme. Even the borders boast pines, bear claws and flying geese from their trek.
Dog Patch
Name of Maker: Judy Lyon
Dog Patch - This bright, elongated, big patch was created to showcase the faces from my “Dawgs” stitching pattern. While working on it I decided it needed a special canine border and created the pattern “In The Doghouse.” After it was quilted I painted the dog faces, where they fell on white triangles, with Shiva Paintstiks.
Chinese Pandas
Name of Maker: Judy Lyon
Chinese Pandas - As I sat listening to news of the Earthquakes in China I felt inspired to draw a Panda pattern. Exploring photos of these seemingly, roly-poly animals was warm and fun – not at all like the awful situation in Asia. I ended up drawing both a vertical and horizontal panto. I wanted the Vertical Panda-Bamboo” for my quilt. I was excited about piecing it on the long-arm machine. I put together the strips of bamboo leaves and the strips of lanterns, then “pieced” it all together on the machine. It was fun albeit a bit of a challenge.
Snowmobiles!
Name of Maker: Tammy Morel
Snowmobiles! - A quilt I designed for my husband for his birthday. He just loves it, and I loved making it for him! I married the best man ever! The applique patterns for the snowmobiles are available at my craftsy store, but the full pattern for the quilt is not.
Green fields
Name of Maker: Hannele Wakkari
Green fields - Honeyberry blocks combined to a lap quilt

Stained Glass - I am fascinated by stained glass. After watching several TQS videos on pattern making, this is my first attempt. Thanks TQS for sharing so much knowledge!
Auntie Phfff
Name of Maker: Marie Glover
Auntie Phfff - Portrait quilt of a wonderful lady who was a large part of my life.
At Seventeen,
Name of Maker: PatArndt
At Seventeen, - Done for a Guild Challenge, was a magazine cover that we were to be inspired by. Mine took me back to teens where I was more about the surface, not the depth of life.
Afternoon in Pardise
Name of Maker: Randa Mulford
Afternoon in Pardise - I began this photo quilt in a workshop with Lenore Crawford (Art Quilt Tahoe 2012). It is based on a photo I took during an afternoon visit to Paradise Meadow at Mount Rainier National Park. Recreating the scene with its late afternoon sunlight and flowing stream was a new challenge for me, but I like how it came out.
On Campus: Lewis & Clark College
Name of Maker: Randa Mulford

On Campus: Lewis & Clark College - I began this quilt in an advanced composition workshop with Valerie Goodwin (Art Quilt Tahoe 2013) as a gift for my daughter upon her graduation from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. It features a map of the campus in the center, with an image of the beautiful Frank Manor House (now an admin building) at the bottom and Mount Hood looming over it all (assuming it's a clear day!)

Daisy Days In Summer
Name of Maker: Anne Marie MIRO
Daisy Days In Summer - This was created for the "farm to fabric" challenge. It is done completely out of all 50 colors of American Brand Made fabric. Fabrics were discharged, painted, over dyed, painted, sheer and net overlayed and thread painted to achieve the effects I wanted.
First Frost
Name of Maker: prcfiberarts
First Frost - The first frost on the leaves as they put on their final show of the season were the inspiration for this quilt.
Weather or Not
Name of Maker: prcfiberarts
Weather or Not - This piece was designed to show the different effects of weather from wind blown to rust and running paint.
