Lucious Lavendar
Name of Maker: Pat Kerko
Lucious Lavendar - I think everyones favorite colors is Purple. I enjoyed putting this quilt together and the richness of the color. Additionally, I enjoyed exploring and improving my machine quilting skills. I quilted this on my home machine. This quilt just won First Place in the machine quilting category at the 2007 Pigeon Forge Quiltfest. Needless to say I was very excited.
Woof Woof
Name of Maker: Bethindc
Woof Woof - I used EQ6 to design this quilt and based it on one of their patterns. I also scanned the fabrics so I could see what it would look like with the fabrics I chose. I quilted it on my Viking Megaquilter and the quilting pattern just says "woof woof woof" all the way across the quilt. Gale is a dog lover.

Bzzzz
Name of Maker: Bethindc

Shiraz and Chardonnay
Name of Maker: Bethindc
Shiraz and Chardonnay - My guild had a mystery quilt challenge a few years ago. I'd never done a mystery quilt before so I decided to make this one. All the participants showed their quilts at one of the regular meetings and it was amazing the different looks that could be achieved with one pattern.
The Usual Suspects
Name of Maker: Bethindc
The Usual Suspects - My mini group did this challenge. We are called "The Merry Cats" so we made a cat quilt. Each group member made enough blocks to share with the others, and I made two extras so I could have nine blocks total. Some of the cats have those plastic eyes that are made for dolls and stuffed animals, some have button eyes, and one is wearing sunglasses. They all looked so guilty that I thought "The Usual Suspects" was a great name for the quilt.
