A to Z From Thee To Me - My friend, Janet Stone, asked me to be a "stunt sewer" for her to test her patterns as she designed the TQS BOM for 2014. I agreed as long as I could use hand applique instead of machine. She also gave me permission to make changes. Quilted by Theresa Ward.

Stars and Fairies
Name of Maker: Nubbins
Stars and Fairies - This quilt was made for Beth Henshaw for her graduation from high school. She looked through my books and choose a block she like and then designed the quilt around a panel she picked out and I was told it had to be blue. I have decided never let an artist design a quilt they want you to make for them ever again. This was quilted using a dragon fly pattern.
The Large Tickle
Name of Maker: Nubbins
The Large Tickle - Originally I thought this quilt would be made for my camper which is a double and then it got way too LARGE. It was 122 inches square which was way too large for my king size bed so I had to take some blocks off one side so it would fit. Some day I am going to learn how to make a small quilt. It will remind me of Uncle Roger who died March 2013 while I was finishing it.
The Colossus Quilt
Name of Maker: Nubbins
The Colossus Quilt - This was made for my Grandson's graduation from High School in Logan, UT in May 2010. It was too big and I had to take blocks off to make it fit the long arm I was going to quilt it on. I made another 45 x 45 inch quilt for him to hang on his wall from the blocks I took off this quilt. I called it the Colossus quilt because it keep growing bigger and bigger and did not want to be made smaller. The picture shows grandpa Fereday and grandson with the quilt
